Here are the full patch notes for Warzone’s March 3 update which brings Rebirth Iron Trials and reverts the UAV price change.
Warzone’s developers are releasing another update at 10 AM PT on March 3, reverting UAV price changes, introducing the Rebirth Iron Trials mode, and including more bug fixes.
Raven Software released a major update on March 2, fixing the overpowered Bren barrel, increasing Vanguard Royale health, and adding UAVs back to Buy Stations – at an increased price. Not even 24 hours later, they’re releasing another patch with the introduction of Rebirth Iron Trials that reverts the UAV price change.
Here’s everything in Warzone’s March 3 update patch notes, including the changes to UAVS, all of the Iron Trials details, and the extra bug fixes.
The adjustments detailed in our March 2nd patch notes will be going live today with the Playlist update at Noon PST.
That said, we’ve made one final change:
Upon further discussion, our team has decided to reintroduce UAVs at the lower price point of $6,000 to monitor match pacing closer to the original design. Once we’ve gathered enough data, we’ll make the subsequent decision as to whether or not we follow through with the proposed increase to $9,000. Providing Players with a fun and consistent long-term experience can sometimes take a little bit of short-term experimentation!
The Iron Trials make a glorious return today as part of the March 3rd Playlist update – this time to Rebirth Island!
At its core, Rebirth Iron Trials is a Battle Royale game mode — the last team standing wins, the Circle Collapse shrinks the playable area to promote engagements, and those who die earlier in the game have a chance to respawn if they win a duel in the Rebirth Island Gulag.
However, Iron Trials brings numerous fundamental changes to this traditional Battle Royale formula. All of them are meant to give players the chance to prove themselves as truly elite Operators — here’s what they are specifically:
When Iron Trials was last with us, Medical Syringes were the go-to Tactical Equipment. We would like to experiment with reducing their effectiveness to see how this impacts gameplay and Equipment viability in the hands of Rebirth Island’s most seasoned veterans. We will be monitoring this change closely to ensure it does not have a net negative impact on the gameplay experience Trials Players have come to expect.
Unique Animated Calling Card Reward
For Rebirth Iron Trials victors, there’s an exclusive new Animated Calling Card to flex your prowess in winning the trial.

As part of the Rebirth Reinforced Event, Warzone players will be able to use Communications Towers across the island.
The Warzone Season 2 Reloaded update included Communications Towers as one of the major additions to Rebirth Island. Here’s how to use the Communications Towers as well as how to unlock them.
Not only have Raven and Beenox introduced major changes to Rebirth Island, but Warzone players will also have an active hand in tweaking it further throughout the remainder of Season 2 Reloaded thanks to the Rebirth Reinforced Event.
A key aspect of the event is the shared participation in Community Challenges. As players work together to complete these Challenges, Rebirth Island will undergo more changes. One of these changes will result in the access of Communications Towers.
In order to fully access Communications Towers, Operators must trade a combined 190 Million Weapons to the Weapon Trade Station. They’ll also earn 50k XP for their efforts.
The idea of unlocking new gameplay elements and altering the structure of a map through Community Challenges is a refreshing one. Alongside Communications Towers, players will also have the chance to unlock Weapon Trade Stations, Armored Truck Deployment, and the Golden Vault Mystery.
This means that players will have to achieve the first Community Challenge of unlocking the Weapon Trade Stations before moving on to the next. They can do so by getting “a combined 20 billion kills on Rebirth Island.”
After gaining access to the Towers, players will be able to use them to activate a stationary UAV at their location. This short-range UAV will cost a reasonable $1500.
Communications Towers are the structure seen in the above image. These beacons will be scattered around the map and are recognizable by their towering size, no pun intended.
If you find yourself in a tough spot and can’t afford a full-fledge UAV there’s no doubt this new gameplay feature could help turn the tide in battle. You’ll certainly have more information to work with when it comes to finding your next Rebirth Island target.
