The 2022 CDL season is coming to a close and now’s the perfect time to celebrate the final event with the Vanguard and Warzone Champs Pack.
The Call of Duty Championship Weekend is the final event of the 2022 CDL season where one team will be crowned the kings of Vanguard. You can get in on the action by getting the CDL Champs Pack bundle in Vanguard and Warzone.
Championship Weekend is the most highly anticipated competitive Call of Duty event of the year. All year long, twelve CDL teams have battled it out in Vanguard, but only one team can be crowned champions.
This year, the event is taking place at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California. Whether you’re watching from home or planning to go to the event, you won’t want to miss out on celebrating the tournament with the CDL Champs Pack in Vanguard and Warzone.
The CDL Championship Pack 2022 contains a Padmavati Operator Skin, STG44 and MP-40 Weapon Blueprints, two Calling Cards, two Emblems, and two Stickers to show off your CDL pride.
Here’s how to get the bundle:
PlayStation, Xbox, and PC players can also visit their respective platform stores to purchase the Champs Pack bundle.
The Champs Pack bundle sports a gold look symbolic of a championship win when it comes to the weapon blueprints and other cosmetics.
This year we get a Champs STG & last year we got a Champs XM4… It seems like this is done on purpose at this point 😂 Maybe its for Warzone?
Some players were quick to question the inclusion of the STG44 blueprint in the bundle. Anyone familiar with the 2022 CDL season knows that it has primarily been a two-weapon meta involving the MP40 and Automaton from start to finish.
Minnesota Rokkr player Eli ‘Standy’ Bentz also thought the decision to include the STG44 was a strange one. They were quick to point out that this isn’t the first time the Champs bundle omits a meta CDL weapon.
While the viewership rewards delivered an XM4 as Standy suggests, during last year’s Cold War season, players received an AK-47 blueprint instead of a Krig blueprint from the Champs Pack.

Here’s how you can get your hands on the brand-new Push Dagger Melee weapon in Warzone & Vanguard Season 4.
Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 4 has brought a brand-new melee weapon called the Push Dagger, and here’s how you can get your hands on it.
Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 4 brought a plethora of new content, including Warzone’s new Fortune’s keep map as well as new weapons like the Marco 5 SMG and UGM-8 LMG.
The new Push Dagger melee weapon was previously only available in Warzone but can now also be obtained after the July 14 update. We’ll go over how you can unlock this weapon in both Vanguard and Warzone Season 4.
You can unlock the Push Dagger in Warzone and Vanguard by getting 5 Melee Kills with a Primary weapon in a single match 15 times, or in Zombies, by getting 100 kills with a Melee weapon while shrouded by your Aether Shroud.
Using the Bayonet attachment on a primary weapon or the Fast Melee Perk will help you complete the challenge extremely quickly. For the Zombies challenge, you can utilize “Shi No Numa interiors that could trap you with the undead often.”
You can complete either of these challenges to unlock the Push Dagger, but if you want to get this weapon quicker then it can also be purchased for 1,600 CoD Points as part of a bundle in the store.
While purchasing it in the store is the quicker option, it’s also more expensive. So, if you want to avoid spending CoD Points, we recommend simply hopping into a game and completing the challenge.
Once you’ve gotten your hands on this melee weapon, you can use it to dish out some serious pain to your enemies up close.

Vanguard has received yet another update as of July 14, bringing new content such as the Push Dagger and various tweaks to the game.
Sledgehammer Games have been consistently updating Vanguard with new content and bug fixes for both Multiplayer and Zombies in Season 4.
The latest update arrived on July 14, introducing a new melee weapon, a change to the Throwing Knife, a playlist update, and more.
The Vanguard July 14 patch has brought the Push Dagger melee weapon to the game. This melee weapon was previously available in Warzone, and can now be obtained in Vanguard.
Players will be able to unlock it by either completing the unlock challenge or purchasing a Bundle. If you’d like to know more about unlocking this melee weapon in both Vanguard and Warzone, check out our guide on how to unlock the Push Dagger.
The Throwing Knife also received a small change in the Vanguard July 14 update. In the patch notes, it states that “Throwing Knives can now be thrown at the start of Search & Destroy and Control rounds.”
Although this is a small change, this definitely opens up some gameplay opportunities for players, especially those who like to go for highlight kills.

It seems Vanguard fans haven’t lost hope that Season 5 can deliver exciting content as they make their demands clear.
Vanguard players have made it clear that one simple change is at the top of their wishlist when it comes to the major Season 5 update.
Although Vanguard Season 4 Reloaded is the next major update set to shake up the game, some players are already looking forward to Season 5. According to leaks, Season 5 could be the final Vanguard season, and players have high expectations for the grand finale.
With every season new weapons are added to the game, and Season 5 should be no different. However, Vanguard players are desperate to receive more WWII-era weapons after other post-launch weapons have failed to hit the mark.
When Vanguard launched with 38 WWII-era weapons they all felt like they had their place in the world that the game created. The sounds, sights, and weapons all worked together to create an authentic 1940s atmosphere.
Unfortunately, players have noticed a drastic shift from the WWII feel that the game began with. One player summed it up on the Vanguard subreddit by highlighting the need for classic WWII guns in Season 5.
The player feels as though each new season of Vanguard has pushed the game’s feel and atmosphere further away from WWII due to the new prototype weapons added to the game. They hope that Season 5 can “round out the end of the cycle with some iconic WWII weaponry.”
Players in the comments wholeheartedly agreed: “Yes I feel that this game was way better in season 1 but then went off the rails, return to ww2, we really more ww2 guns.”
Some players offered suggestions for new Season 5 weapons and it seems like the classic FG-42 is a popular request.
In addition, the Lee-Enfield, which appeared in Vanguard’s campaign was another highly requested weapon: “for sure. id love to get something like, idk, the lee enfield that’s in the campaign. at the very least just something that actually saw combat. prototype weapons are boring as hell.”
